Available Positions
Design Engineer / EIT
This is a full time position where you would work under our Lead Engineer. Our lead engineer is also a professor part time and will be a great mentor if you are willing to learn. This job consists of occasional site visits, creating calculation packages, drafting and designing plans, attending structural observations and writing observation reports. You will interface with structural engineers, city building plan checkers, city inspectors and construction managers.
Office Assistant
This is a part-time position which would develop into full time after a few weeks. The Office Assistant is responsible for supporting the office staff and would report to the Sales Manager. This candidate should be able to work independently and be able to follow processes and procedures and have a strong attention to detail.
Crew Member
This position is to be part of a construction crew to do Soft Story Seismic Retrofitting. Duties will include Saw Cutting Concrete, Excavation & Haul Away, Demolition of Stucco & possibly decorative stone wall features. Installing Pad Forms, Attaching Steel to Building with nailer plates in specific patterns specified on plan. Framing & Installing Straps.
Crew Foreman
This position is to lead a construction crew. Duties of the crew will include Saw Cutting Concrete, Excavation & Haul Away, Demolition of Stucco & possibly decorative stone wall features. Installing Pad Forms, Attaching Steel to Building with nailer plates in specific patterns specified on plan. The crew foreman must be able to give direction and push a job forward and keep it on track for time schedule and communicate with the office for observations, inspections, and delays. Must follow all company procedures and all OSHA safety standards.
